Justin and his fiancee Maddie are getting married in spring 2020 after five years of dating. Justin has three children — Ashton, Kameron, and Jaxson — along with two dogs, a yellow lab and a Basset Hound. When he’s not at work, Justin likes to fish and hunt. He also enjoys hanging out on the water, and he’s a big fan of cooking on the grill as well.
Justin got his start in our industry back in 2002. Initially, he worked on an underground utility crew, where he worked his way up to a foreman role within two years. He has experience doing all aspects of site work, and before Hughes Brothers, he was a superintendent at his father’s company.
Chad and Justin started Hughes Brothers in 2012. Justin says his favorite part of this company is seeing how much they’ve grown, not just by increasing the company’s revenue, but also witnessing their employees’ personal growth. He loves seeing a raw piece of land transformed into a finished product, and he’s proud of the way his teams are able to work safely and efficiently.
Justin says Hughes Brothers is a successful business “because of the dedication of our people” on every level of the company, from laborers up to management. “I feel there isn’t a more dedicated group of people in the markets we serve,” he says, “or anywhere else, for that matter.”
