Rhett Niewinski

Rhett was born and raised in Illinois, and he married his wife Ashley 16 years ago. They have an 11-year-old daughter named Joscelyn, and a three-year-old son named Kohen. Rhett enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
He attended the University of Illinois, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Rhett has 15 years of experience in heavy highway construction and civil site development, and he’s been a licenced Professional Engineer for the last 11 years.
Rhett joined the Hughes Brothers team four years ago. He says that his favorite part of working here is “taking an undeveloped piece of vacant property and completely transforming it.” He finds it very rewarding to visit a job site and see the progress that comes as a direct result of working hard every day.
He says the biggest indicator for Hughes Brothers’ success as a company is the fact that the vast majority of our work comes from repeat clients. “We take great pride in completing projects on time and on budget, without sacrificing quality,” he explains. “When you do good work, you will continue to get more work based on your reputation.”
